Vélez-Málaga

     I hope these pages were interesting for you and help you to know a little bit better the place where I was born and grew up: Vélez-Málaga, capital of 'la Axarquía', eastern region of the province of Málaga, Andaluc�a (South of Spain).
     Large personages cradle, endowed of an interesting historical past, rich village in monuments and with an enviable pleasure climate, is located in a geographical framework to the pleasure of everyone, surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea and the Sees of Tejeda and Almijara.
     For the content of these pages I have counted with the collaboration of Francisco Montoro, my father, veleño (from Vélez), historian... and lover of the history of V�lez.
     If you would like to know something else about my village, or see in this section a larger one, just let me know. I will be very pleased in show you anything you would like to know about it. However, I am afraid that I have not been able to translate these pages yet, but if you are interested, let me know and I will make an effort:
